# Why WAX? Compared to many other blockchains, WAX has extremely low transaction fees which make it the perfect blockchain to make NFT based games and utility that requires frequent trading, exchanging and blending of assets. Additionally the WAX blockchain is extremely fast and transactions are done in seconds. And there is a great deal of native utility built on to the NeftyBlocks platform, for which we have a Level 3 staking ability that allows us to take advantage of all the built in utility including pre-minted packs and super blends. Also notable is the WAX community - it is a comprised of a relatively small group of boutique projects and collectors interested in gameplay, utility and cost effective NFT acquisition.
